The 'Beached' waterbenders and the runaway airbender { Unai + Hannalei + Delun }

Hannalei chuckled as she listened to the excitment that Unai expelled. "Shirtless at either of our tribes was suicide. Frostbite ouch!" She removed a pink flower from her hair simply to readjust it with the others. They continued walking through the beaten path of Ba Sing Se, pacing through the youth of the outer ring.

Hanna proceeded in again nudging Unai on the shoulder. "C'mon now Unai focus!" She laughed, "You keep getting caught up by all the men here you'll die in those hides, remember out objective before we get lost!" The water tribe girl teased. Though in all honesty she kept up a steady fight to keep her eyes ahead of her. But oh! These woodsman, quarry worker, and flat out random men in the outer ring were making it difficult!

"Hey!" she pouted, crossing her arms and stopping in her tracks. "Im not a fun killer! I've just seen it all before!" Hannalei broke into a smile and began to walk again.

She twirled, "Its not that I dont like it, because beileve me I do." A devilish smile crept upon the crevice of her mouth. "Its just." She stopped again in their walking, and spun around taking in the scenery that was the outer ring of Ba Sing Se. "I dont know what it is." She stopped and wandered for a bit.

"I need to be by water.. Ba Sing Se just isnt enough for me.." Feeling greedy, she needed to lighten the mood. "Im from the northern water tribe, I need to be by water or ill shrivel up like a papaya!" She laughed, and rushed to catch back up with Unai who had, strayed off the path...

Hannalei finally became aware of things again. She stopped twirling and her brown curly hair finally rested itself on her shoulder. "Unai?" She called, not seeing her friend anywhere. "Unai!" Her eyes scattered across the plane of her sight, till finally..

"Unai!" She laid unconcious on the floor. "Unai! Wake up are you alright?" Hanna dropped to her knees and quickly scanned her friend. Unai's cheeks were pink, and her forehead hot to the touch. These darn hides, and Unai kept running around...
Hannalei thought quickly at what to do. Water!

She quickly unstrapped the water gourd she carried from back and proceeded to uncork, and bend the water out of it. But there wasnt anything in it, the bottom of the gourd had cracked from the heat the water insulated inside.. "Unai!" she yelled again, proceeding in removing the out cover of the hides she wore. Unai was layered up. Hanna looked around again, there wasnt any water around, and the air was so dry. It was just so hot.

"HELP!!" she shouted, "Help Help!" She pulled Unai off the dirt of the main road.

Hannalei finally raised her eyes again at the sound and approach of yet another stranger. She gasped at the sight, but quickly tried to hide her awe. Those tattoos... He's an airbender.

"Sh-She passed out. I-I..." Hannalei fidgeted nervously, man was he attractive. And that axe? Priceless. She bit down on her lip aggresively, and her eyes fell back down to Unai.

When she finally spoke again, her words were clear and confident. The medic inside of her had finally set in. "She's passed out from all the heat. She needs water." Hanna looked down at her friend, fighting off the blush that ran her cheecks tingly everytime she looked at him. For Unai's sake! He is gorgeous, get a grip!

"Is there a river anywhere near by? Anything? I need water to bend!" She moved the stray hair out of Unais face, and then looked up again at Delan. "Please."

The man had listened and all Hannalei could think to say was, "Thank you." Though she was over the shock of both his tatoos and beauty, there was still panic in her blue eyes.

"Ooof!" she yelped as the axe fell into her hands, "How the hell do you use this thing to chop wood?" Her expression was hysterical as she trotted behind swaying from side to side with the momentum of the axe that swung wildly.

A bit of envy struck Hannalei as she watched her friend being whisked away, part of her had wished she was the one that had passed out, and was being carried by an individual of such loveliness. But then again neither of the two were medics, and she would problaby die... Anyway! They finally reached the stream.

Hannalei quickly released the axe, flinging it as she did. Oops! "Sorry!" Hanna cried, as she dropped to her knees beside Unai. She did the same as the air bender had done, and proceeded in stripping Unai of the hides until finally she was down to the undercover thing that the tribe people wore under. "Shes burning up.." Hanna said quietly, her hand resting on Unai's forehead.

Finally she turned to the stream. It wasnt a raging river, but it was more then enough. Hanna blue eyes glissened in the sunlight, and she began work. "This is the easy part." she said. And with that, she began to bend the water. Her arms swaying in the small space in front of her and the water having no choice but to obey. She positioned it over Unai, then finally. Splash! "C'mon Unai.." she chanted, keeping a steady flow of water running on the face of Unai, then finally down her entire frame.

Hannalei cursed at the flush on her cheeks. There hands had only brushed eachother, nothing more!

Then Unai finally spoke and her eyes gently fluttered open. A great burden of worry was lifted from Hanna's shoulder, however she lacked sincerity..

"Shut up and chew on this!" She demanded, simultaeously shoving a piece of ice into Unai's mouth. A few moments later, she was finally calm.

A sigh, "You fainted Unai. You overheated and blacked out while we were on the road." Hanna then dropped her gaze, taking notice of how soaked Unai really was. "Annnnnd the water was to cool you down." Hanna shrugged at the akwardness of the situation, smiling nervously to try and ease the tension.

Hanna smiled, happy Unai was okay. A gentle breeze blew by, and she crossed her legs as if she were about to meditate. She took a deep breath and just realxed for a bit. The airbender that had helped them spoke only a few times.

"This has been quite a day." she confessed, plopping down onto her back. "I head out for Omashu and end up in Ba Sing Se." she laughed at herself, "Bah, I need a nap."

Hannalei laughed, embarrased. The axe? She had flung it somewhere. Shifting her glance over to the man, she saw the look he gave her. "I said i was sorry." she forced an aplogetic smile, "That thing weighs a ton."

"Unai, it was obviously destiny that brought us together." Hanna laughed, "That or the fact that I have no sense of direction whatsoever." She smiled happily, becoming distracted with a flower that had fallen out of her hair. She twirled it between her fingers, then proceeded to pick its petals off one by one. "Im not going anywhere Unai, haha." she assured, "I cant just leave you, 'sis'." She chuckled, and smiled warmly.

Then becoming aware of the air nomad, "Yeah, Omashu." she replied, smiling nervously again. She then lifted her head slightly to see which direction he was pointing. Her jaw dropped. "But I came from that direction! I didnt see Omashu anywhere!" she cried, "I messanger hawk was sent to the village I live in down by the southern shores. There had been a spirit attack and there were several injuries and yadda yadda." She covered her face with her hands, "The usual."


Her imbarrasment caused her to become flushed, she had somehow flung the axe in the river, and well she couldnt really defend herself at this point. "Well, ever since I came to the earth kingdom, I did have to buff up a bit." She flexed her arms, though however they showed little definition. She laughed.
